Please, follow these instructions carefully and you will be able to convert your Matterport virtual tours very easily.
Full Service Instructions
Full service customers start by creating an account and purchasing your full service tours.
Once in the dashboard, click “CREATE TOUR” then edit “TOUR SETTINGS” to load the Matterport tour(s) that you are converting and give it/them a title. This title will be on the embedded version of the tour. Click “SAVE”.
We will contact you once this is complete before we start producing your tour. Once we produce the tour you will be able to change any titles or text that you prefer to change. The full service tour includes the writing for each point of interest but does not include writing for “Mattertag” content or museum/exhibit content. You will be responsible for adding any of this specific context for your needs after we have completed your base descriptions for the virtual tour.
Self Service Instructions
Self service customers start by creating an account and purchasing your self service tours.
Once in the dashboard, click “CREATE TOUR” then edit “TOUR SETTINGS” to load the Matterport tour(s) that you are converting and give it/them a title. This title will be on the embedded version of the tour. Click “SAVE”.
You will now start adding points of interest that will become your menu items.
To add points of interest manually navigate your Matterport tour to the position where you would like to add a point of interest. Click the “New Point of Interest” button. Add a title and accessibility description. Click the second button from the left to save that position.

Note: Be sure and click the “How to Add Descriptions” button for a few best practices on writing for accessibility. WCAG 2.1 guidelines should be followed to adhere ADA compliance. Accessibility writing is very specific in many ways that you should understand before writing accessibility descriptions. Here is another great article on the topic (read example 2).

Repeat this process for as many scenes as you would like to add to the project.
To delete a scene click the trash can button.

To move scenes (points of interest) up/down use the up/down arrows. Note: Chrome can sometimes be buggy with this function. If you are having issues we have found that Firefox performs as expected.

To view/edit a point of interest in the preview window click the location marker button.

Once complete click save and you will see options to…
- Copy the embed code. This is a responsive embed code that will look great on any device.
- View the tour. This is your full page version of the tour that can also be shared.
- Return to the dashboard
- Close – this returns you to the editing area.
